Deepwater developments are exposed to extreme conditions. The S.E.A. Atlas™ Bottom Tendon Connector (BTC) is designed for use on Tension Leg Platforms (TLPs) deployed in regions such as the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa and the North Sea. A critical component of our tendon connection solution, it has been designed to provide a secure connection to the subsea pile and is qualified to withstand 12 million lbs of tension and 2 million lbs of compression, throughout the TLP’s lifecycle.
The S.E.A.Atlas™ BTC features a revolutionary, robust locking technology for the harshest subsea conditions. Subjected to a DNV.GL-witnessed, full-scale qualification program, it installs with ease. Its reassuring breech-style connection is designed to prevent disconnection in both tension and compression scenarios – making it the connector of choice for safety, strength and reliability.

Fast & secure connection that is tested above & beyond for optimal safety
Ulti-Max GT is the latest advance in weld-on casing connectors, combining all the features of GE’s widely used RL-3M connector with new materials and design advantages, in a more compact, lightweight and cost-effective package. After a rigorous design and testing program, it sets entirely new standards for application range, safety, ease of use and reliability and, through speeding up casing string installation, also improves rig productivity. Ulti-Max GT has passed GE’s most extensive test regimen ever, with a wider range of key safety components and higher standards than covered by typical testing programs for tension, compression, bending and internal & external pressure. It is qualified per ISO 13679: 2011 CAL I-E with additional validation testing beyond ISO 13679 for added assurance. It is available in multiple diameters & thicknesses.
